Hansika Motwani born on August 9th, 1991 in Mumbai is an upcoming Indian actress and a renowned model.

The daughter of Pradeep Motwani and Mona Motwani, Hansika is pursuing her high school studies at Podar International School. Hansika's movie career began long back as a child artist.

At the instance of Juhi Chawla, Hansika appeared as a child artist in "Yahoo" starring along side Govinda and Juhi herself. But the movie has not seen the light of the day and was buried in the cans forever. Years later, again it was Juhi Chawla, who secured her a Hyundai Santro campaign in which she appeared along with Shahrukh Khan. The pretty lass got widespread attention through the ad and eventually bagged several ad campaigns, soap operas and movie offers.

She endorsed leading brands like Bournvita, Samsung Electronics, Pepsi and several other products. Hansika Motwani demonstrated her acting capabilities in television shows and soap operas like, Sony TV's "Hum 2 Hain Na", Zee TV's "Tum Bin" and Star Plus' "Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand", "Shakalaka Boom Boom", and the never-ending mega soap opera "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi".

She got her movie break with a brief role in "Koi... Mil Gaya" {2003} starring along side Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta and acted in two more movies that year, "Hawa" and "Escape From Taliban". Proving herself as an actress, Hansika Motwani has become quite a busy star appearing in several big movies including, "Hum Kaun Hai?" {2004}, starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan; "Aap Ka Suroor" {2007}, opposite Himesh Reshammiya; and "Desamuduru" {2007}, a Telugu movie starring opposite Allu Arjun.
